cine + octo = boo

a lot to say, but not a whole lot of ways to safely say it. let’s put it this way, today was an emotional game of twister — rung from a towel, tossed in a blender, and then grated into fine slivers on a microplane. it was a dull tug, and disappointment rather than a shock. i missed the courting, arrived late to the ball, and watched my hopes of making a difference go down in flames.

as sad as all of this suggests, i was fairly lucky in the end. looking for something new, but not entirely out in the cold. not yet anyway. but the shelf life date has officially been stamped. i’ll have to keep the pressure on to find my next gig. for those of you able to read between the lines, well, let me know if you have any promising leads.

a dark, dark, cloud is perching over sunnyvale tonight. me thinks today was merely the first set of showers, and that a larger storm is brewing. but, that’s just speculation.

i may be free to be more clear about all of this in the near future, but for now cryptic hyperbole. i apologize.
