Tonight, the LOST-pocalypse continues! The episode on deck is What Kate Did. If you haven’t already, give my review of LA X a quick read, then head back over here tonight for the liveblog of What Kate Did. I’ve already gone over the rules, but give them another look when you get a minute.

10:00pm – That’s a wrap! Great episode, plenty to discuss in my review, but for now it’s time to shut it down. Thanks for playing!

9:59pm — And Claire’s back…does this mean Jin is at risk of being claimed also? Noooooo!!!

9:57pm – These games between Jack and Dogen are interesting. “We believe he’s been…” Claimed, by who? Man in Black, Man in Black!! “Because it happened to your sister.” Whoa, so not only are we bringing back Claire, but we’re spilling the beans to Jack about his sibling?! Excellent.

9:54pm – Detective Rasmussen…another player from the island? Maybe not. Joan Hart — must look into that pseudonym. This is the first time I recall Kate taking a stance on her innocence. Am I wrong? Claire has to return to the regular timeline in this episode…I can feel it.

9:48pm — Why does this baseball seem familiar? Management tips from Dogen — “I must maintain a distance from those I [lead].” Interesting, Jack didn’t give Sayid the pill. Wait, now he’s swallowing it? Whoa! What is in this thing?! Ah…”poison.”

9:45pm — Hmm, the house that Juliet and Sawyer built. Kate blames herself for Juliet’s death. No, Sawyer blames himself for her death. He’s right. The one time he opened up to something stable, and it ends up costing him dearly. This is pretty painful. Nice transition for the character.

9:43pm – “I just don’t want to have to stick you with needles if I don’t need to.” Creeepy! Nothing’s irreversible. Claire and Ethan still end up in a similar situation, just different circumstances. This is getting really interesting.

9:40pm — Lo and behold! Kate is putting herself at risk for Claire. HOLY FUCKING SHIT — ETHAN!!!!!!!

9:36pm – Kate is back in the Dharma camp. What is Sawyer looking for? Juliet memories…he’s really haunted by her ghost. Skaters may win the race after all.

9:35pm — Claire’s a little paranoid and uneasy. I have a feeling something significant is going to happen with regards to the adopting family. Aaaaaaannnd “Daddy Issues” strike again!

9:32pm — Uh oh, Jin and Kate are splitting up? Once again, running. You can always count on Kate to do what comes natural to her.

9:30pm — Miles’ crack about the food court was pretty funny. Let’s see if Jack is able to convince Sayid to take the pill. Dramatic pause…my money’s on Sayid taking the pill.

9:24pm — Ouch, Jack is getting a healthy dose of guilt. Ok, so if Jack fails to give Sayid the pill, then the infection will spread. Does that mean Sayid’s presence will cause others to die, and in turn create more opportunities for the Man in Black to infiltrate the temple?

9:22pm — Wait, Kate and Aldo know each other? Oh that’s right…Not in Portland! Kate’s freed herself, now Jack is seeking answers. Sayid is sick, better yet he’s “infected.” But with what? Smoke monster flu?

9:19pm — Back again. And Kate’s conscience gets the best of her — after all, she has a heart. OH SHIT, that’s MAC! Always Sunny cameo, woot woot!

9:17pm — Punch dub commercial is cute, especially the Stevie Wonder part with Tracy Morgan. However, it feels a little greedy to modify the “punch bug” game to include all VWs. Just sayin’.

9:15pm — Called it! “I just lied to him didn’t I?” [beat] “Yes.” What the WHAT???!!!!

9:14pm – I get it. They are testing Sayid to see if he’s the Man in Black. Any takers?

9:12pm — Loved the snarky dialogue with the mechanic. Excellent stuff. Just to note: Amelie knows what a punch press is. Sayid is tied down, why does this look like the beginnings of a torture session? Oh, right…because it is.

9:09pm — Shutter Island trailer during the break. I’m still curious after all this time. Now we’re back. I sort of like this “An ABC Production” business at the start of each episode. Who called it?! Wait, why is it so important that Sawyer, er I mean Ford, return to the temple safely?

9:06pm — Interesting that Sawyer is turning back into selfish Sawyer again — Juliet’s death really impacted him. “Don’t come after me.”  Who wants to place bets on Kate doing just that?

9:03pm – Anyone else find it interesting that Sawyer tells Kate that he’s “thinking of running?” The overlaps and parallels between timelines are quite interesting. I’m wondering what the significance is behind the change in water clarity for Sayid — what are the implications?

9:00pm – We’re picking right up after Sayid woke up…what is going on? Ouch, harsh words from Sawyer regarding Sayid’s second chance!

8:59pm – Dee has officially ramped up the mocking of the wonky score from LA X. Duh, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo!
